Stay AI-Fluent. Operate at a Higher Level.
The Elite Execution Mastermind for Top-Tier Leaders
The Risk of Being Behind
You know AI is changing how work gets done. You may also feel that you have fallen behind, even if no one around you realizes it.
Special Ops gives you a practical way to catch up, stay current, and improve how you work. Steve Kahle helps you separate what matters from the noise and directs your attention toward ideas worth testing. Join leaders who share what they are trying, learn from one another’s experience, and put useful ideas into practice.

Getting Caught Up Is Only Half the Challenge
New tools and ideas keep coming. You can spend hours sorting through them and still wonder what deserves your attention.
Special Ops helps you focus on what matters and test it against real work. The goal is steady improvement in how you use AI, learn, make decisions, and follow through. You do not need to arrive as an expert. You do need to be willing to learn and try things.
What Happens Inside Special Ops
(1) Useful Ideas Each Week
In Elite Ops Academy, you’ll find weekly posts on AI developments, use cases, and case studies. You’ll also find ideas for planning and executing work more deliberately, along with practical approaches to learning and retaining what matters. Steve selects and explains the ideas he believes deserve a closer look, so you have a starting point for your own experiments.
(2) A Monthly Learning Lab
Join Steve and other members for a 45-minute Friday conversation. We revisit key ideas from the month, share small wins, ask questions, and talk through what is getting in the way.
Members contribute their own experiments and experience. Steve guides the discussion and helps the group identify useful next steps. If you miss a session, you can watch the recording in the Academy.
(3) A Monthly Field Exercise
To apply that month’s concept, use the optional field exercise. Each one is designed to be lightweight and useful in your own work. A month focused on Finish Line Planning, for example, might include a one-page guide to help you try the approach and bring what you learned back to the group.
(4) A Private Place to Keep Learning
Elite Ops Academy is the private Circle community where members access posts, recordings, resources, and discussion. Bring a question, share something you tried, or learn from another leader’s experience.
Plan on approximately 1.5 to 2.25 hours per month if you attend the Learning Lab and take part in the field exercise. You can participate at a level that fits your schedule.
What We Work On
Execution Intelligence
Become more proactive about important work instead of letting incoming demands dictate your day. Plan with greater intention, spend less time reacting, and build habits that help important work reach the finish line.
AI in Practice
Understand emerging capabilities, examine real use cases, and test tools and workflows that fit your work. Security and governance are part of the conversation from the start. We consider what information a tool can access, where human review belongs, and how to experiment without giving a new system more authority than it needs. Members should follow their organization’s policies and avoid sharing sensitive business or client information in group discussions.
Advanced Learning
Improve how you capture, retain, and use what you learn. These practices draw in part from Leadership Recall and help turn useful insights into knowledge you can apply. The aim is to have what you learn available when you need it in a conversation, a decision, or a difficult problem.
The topics will change as our work and tools change. The purpose is consistent: help one another get better at putting what matters to work.
Guided by an Operator Who Works at the Intersection of AI and Security
Steve Kahle is a two-time CEO, fractional CIO/CTO, and author of Leadership Recall. His cybersecurity background shapes how he approaches AI: explore what is possible, understand the risks, and put appropriate guardrails around real use.
In Special Ops, Steve shares what he is testing and learning, helps members identify where to focus, and guides conversations about applying new capabilities responsibly. Members bring their own experience, questions, and discoveries. The group gets stronger from both.

Is Special Ops for You?
You’ll Fit Well If You…
Want to keep improving how you think, learn, and execute.
Know that staying current and applying what you learn can strengthen your competitive advantage.
Are willing to experiment, ask questions, and reconsider how you work.
Value learning from other leaders and sharing useful experience when you can.
Want practical guidance on using AI responsibly.
You may be catching up with AI or already using it regularly. You do not need to know all the answers or contribute to every discussion. Curiosity and a willingness to put useful ideas into practice matter more than your starting point.
It May Not Be the Right Fit If You…
Expect improvement without making time to apply what you learn.
Have little interest in learning from others or considering a different approach.
Want a place primarily to promote yourself or sell to other members.
Special Ops works best when members are willing to grow and help others grow. Some months you may contribute an insight. Other months you may ask a question or quietly apply what you have learned.
What Access Do I Have to Steve?
Steve provides guidance through the weekly posts, monthly Learning Lab, and community discussions. You can ask questions, share what you are trying, and bring challenges to the Learning Lab for discussion with Steve and fellow members.
One-on-one sessions with Steve are available for an additional fee. Membership does not include unlimited personal access, private coaching, or custom implementation.
